Meet Our Leaders
MEET THE DIAZ’
At Metro Church, multi EVERYTHING is what you will get! If you know the Diaz, you know that they are all about wanting to incorporate a multicultural community whenever they have the opportunity.
Alan & Maryann have been married for 25 years and are the parents of three beautiful daughters aged 23, 21 and 17. Alan and his wife are Brooklyn natives but came to the wonderful city of Jacksonville in 2003. They have grown to develop a special love for Jax through the multiple city wide events. Whether it was through prayer walks within the city, or hosting basketball tournaments in the vast urban communities of Metro Jax. These special times of para-church ministry has led to where they are today.
Four years ago, they were birthed with the vision to a plant a church in Jacksonville. In the past four years, they have sought council and have undergone training to better understand, not only the needs of the city, but the needs of the church. In early 2019, God made it clear to them that the time was now.
Alan and Maryann would be honored if you would join their family in this journey.
Our Vision
Our vision is to reach, connect and serve a multigenerational, multicultural, multi-class, and multiethnic group for Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
Our missions is to win the lost, teach the word of God for practical spiritual transformation.
3 primary ways of accomplishing this:
We win the lost primarily through small group evangelism and one on one evangelism in our communities and workplace.
We teach the word of God through our weekend worship experience.
We help people discover their purpose through practical spiritual transformation with our growth track
