MEET THE DIAZ’
AAt Metro Church, “multi” is more than a word—it’s a lifestyle! If you know the Diaz family, you know they are passionate about creating a multicultural community wherever they go.
Alan & Maryann have been married for over 27 years and are proud parents of three amazing daughters, now aged 25, 23, and 19. Originally from Brooklyn, they moved to the vibrant city of Jacksonville in 2003 and have developed a deep love for the city through years of community involvement. From city-wide prayer walks to hosting basketball tournaments in urban neighborhoods, Alan and Maryann have dedicated themselves to building bridges and serving the people of Jacksonville.
Their vision for Metro Church was birthed several years ago, and through intentional training, mentorship, and prayer, they were equipped to understand both the spiritual and practical needs of the city and the church. In 2019, God made it clear that the time to plant Metro Church had come—and the journey began.
Alan and Maryann would be honored to have you join their family as they continue to serve, love, and impact Jacksonville for Christ.
Our Vision
Our vision is to reach, connect and serve a multigenerational, multicultural, multi-class, and multiethnic group for Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
Our missions is to win the lost, teach the word of God for practical spiritual transformation.
3 primary ways of accomplishing this:
We win the lost primarily through small group evangelism and one on one evangelism in our communities and workplace.
We teach the word of God through our weekend worship experience.
We help people discover their purpose through practical spiritual transformation with our growth track
